Privacy Policy

    Effective Date: March 6, 2026

    1. Overview

Blueprint for Learning Co. (referred to as "we," "our," or "us") operates the website blueprintforlearningco.com and provides professional development courses and tools for K–12 educators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices you have. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy applies to blueprintforlearningco.com and all courses, tools, and services offered through or in connection with it.

    2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services.

    Information you provide directly:

    • Your email address — when you create an account, enroll in a course, or sign up for our email list
    • Course progress and completion data — lessons completed, assessment scores, and certificate status

    Information collected automatically:

    • Basic browser and device information may be collected by the platforms and services we use (see Section 5 — Third-Party Services)
    • We do not currently operate independent analytics tracking on blueprintforlearningco.com

Information you enter into our AI tools:

    • If you use the Differentiation Design Studio or other AI-powered planning tools, you may enter lesson descriptions, grade levels, subject areas, and general class descriptions
    • We ask that you do not enter any student names, student ID numbers, or other personally identifiable student information into our AI tools
    • AI tool inputs are processed in real time and are not stored by Blueprint for Learning Co. after your session ends

    3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

    • To provide access to your purchased courses and associated resources
    • To track your course progress and issue your certificate of completion
    • To send you course-related communications — such as access instructions, updates to content you've purchased, and receipts
    • To send periodic email updates about new courses, resources, or relevant professional learning opportunities — only if you have opted in
    • To respond to support requests submitted to support@blueprintforlearningco.com
    • To improve the quality and functionality of our courses and tools

We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising or retargeting. We do not share your information with third parties except as described in Section 5 of this policy.

    4. What We Do Not Do

We want to be direct about your data protections:

    • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party
    • We do not use your data for advertising, retargeting, or behavioral profiling
    • We do not contact you for any purpose other than course access, course updates, purchase receipts, and support — unless you have opted into our email list
    • We do not store the inputs or outputs of your AI tool sessions after your session ends
    • We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. Our courses and tools are designed for adult educators. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, please contact us at support@blueprintforlearningco.com so we can remove it

    5. Third-Party Services

Blueprint for Learning Co. uses the following third-party services to operate our website, courses, and tools. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, which governs how they handle data on their platforms.

    Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT)

Courses are sold through the Blueprint for Learning Co. TPT store. Payment processing and purchase data are handled by TPT. We do not collect or store payment information directly. Review TPT's privacy policy at teacherspayteachers.com.

    Supabase

Supabase serves as our backend database and authentication platform. Your email address and course enrollment and progress data are stored securely in Supabase. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. Review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com.

    Anthropic API

Our AI-powered planning tools (such as the Differentiation Design Studio) use the Anthropic API to process your inputs and generate planning content. Your inputs are transmitted to Anthropic's API through a secure, server-side connection. Blueprint for Learning Co. does not store your AI tool inputs or outputs after your session ends.

    6. A Note on Student Privacy (FERPA)

Blueprint for Learning Co. courses and tools are designed for use by adult educators — not by students. We do not collect, process, or store student education records as defined under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

When using our AI-powered planning tools, we ask that you describe your students in general terms only — class-level descriptions, grade levels, and general characteristics. Please do not enter:

    • Individual student names
    • Student ID numbers
    • Any information that could identify a specific student

This protects your students' privacy and ensures your use of our tools remains consistent with your district's data privacy obligations.

If you are using Blueprint for Learning Co. tools as part of a school or district deployment, we recommend consulting your district's technology and privacy officer to confirm alignment with your local data governance policies.

    7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

    • Secure, server-side API connections for all AI tool interactions — your data is never exposed directly to third-party services through the browser
    • Use of Supabase's secure, SOC 2-compliant infrastructure for account and progress data
    • No direct collection or storage of payment information

No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about the security of your information, contact us at support@blueprintforlearningco.com.

    8. Your Choices

    Email communications:

If you have opted into our email list, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at support@blueprintforlearningco.com. Course-related emails (access instructions, receipts, support responses) are not optional while you are an active customer.

    Account data:

If you would like to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at support@blueprintforlearningco.com. Please note that deleting your account will remove your course access and certificate records.

    AI tool data:

AI tool inputs and outputs are not stored after your session ends, so there is no stored data to request or delete in connection with AI tool use.

    9. Cookies and Tracking

blueprintforlearningco.com may use cookies and browser local storage in limited ways to support basic site and course functionality — such as keeping you signed in or saving your most recent AI-generated plan to your browser for convenience. We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking across other websites, or behavioral profiling. Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of your course or account.

    10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of blueprintforlearningco.com after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you have concerns about a change, contact us before continuing to use our services.
